A company is looking for a Health Information Specialist to
maintain accurate and confidential health records for providers and
patients.
Key Responsibilities
Review data for accuracy and contact physician offices to retrieve
or confirm data
Review incoming correspondence and assign appropriate tasks
Match provider specialty information with clinical information
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Knowledge of medical terminology
Computer skills including navigating different systems and data
entry
Experience with Excel formulas
